I'm useless. Deproving in every aspect of life: academic, CCA, friendship(?), Relationship{L}. Just finished training and found out how noob I am, even coach say so. I'm practically NOT doing well for tests. I'm just screwed inside out. I dont think i'm myself in RV. I have NO motivation. I'm nothing in the eyes of everyone, the world. I'm struggling choosing my subject combi o.o AND SHE doesn't CARE. I think I'm nothing in {her} eyes. I hate this. {she} doesnt care. But foolish O me still doesnt change my <3.>

Science Centre Orientation

Hello xD muahhahah today was rather exciting coz went for CIP Science Centre Orientation. Stella, Yujie, Gracie and I were the few who did not go for orientation with the whole class, So we need to go today 11 Aug o.o anw, we went to JP L.J.S. to have lunch: Yujie & I went to get sumthing frm popular for Sum1 special xD in the end Stella help us buy food o.o

Next, on the 198 bus, as usual, Yujie was blabbering (or rather gossiping) bout _____. lol while I was listening to music to drown Yujie's voice xD heheh. anw, it was RAINING._. The Funniest thing was Yujie shouting "CHIONG ARH!!!" while "jay walking" and broke her voice o.O

And Guess wad, we were more than 30min later, coz SUMBODY (yujie) told us it was 3.30pm start hehheeh. Oohoh, there was also this FAILED presenter. SHe was like "If u wanna become a 'Wolunteer' (volunteer)...", "Wirus" (virus), "Wacuum cleaner" (vacuum), damn funny omgomgomg. hhahaha. Stella was laughing too. During the Presentation, she was also "...you know......you know" in that 'Ris Low' tone, super funny.

Yujie was fascinated by the Echo stuff, which creates echo lol._. I find the heart beat drum interesting :D Oh the only thing that I was pisst about was after everything, we decided to go Mac have ice-cream. Yujie and Stella bough Sundae, Gracie had to leave, left me alone in Mac. I was queuing up waiting for my turn and those china ppl keep hogging up the whole counter cant deciding what they want, thats not all; after finish ordering, their friend (who was freaking sitting down comfortably on the chair) just stood up and took over the counter?!?!?!?! WTH? And Best of all, I was waiting RIGHT IN FRONT of the cashier giving her that "pisst-off" face and she didn't give a damn >:( and duh of course that CUT QUEUE LADY didnt bother too. Oh I stormed out of Mac.

But Overall, the Science Centre Orientation was A-OK :D = interesting and Fun.

心是一颗幼小的种子。它，虽然如此的微小，又没什么价值，但是，总有一天会在适宜的环境中定下自己的树根，最终长成一棵高耸入云，枝叶繁茂的树。岁月如白驹过隙，正躺在愿望与企盼之枕头上的种子渐变成棵大树。这很像同学们；童年的我们没梦想过自己的未来是如何 — 只顾着玩。无忧无虑的我们就似显微镜，总困惑不解的问：“为何需读书？为什么你们总是督促我温习功课？”但父母只答道：“读书是为自己好，长大了你就会明白。”

光阴似箭，日月如梭，一转眼，种子挨过暴风骤雨，也享受过艳阳普照。种子变成棵高大的树后，才知道自己得到了不少帮忙与协助。不毛之壤难生苗，肥沃之土满原树。这时，它也发现自己好幸运被栽种在“肥沃之土”里。树叶繁茂的那棵树，站立在热带雨林等上，迎接成功之曙光。现在本是个幼小的种子像块晶莹璀璨的宝石，散发出光耀夺目的骄光。

Hello. I noe I havent been posting for quite some time, so I decided to post JUST ONE DAY BEFORE MY BIO PRAC TEST?!?!?! okok, anw, today's main FUN part was the SC investiture part. The rest of the day was all about BREAD xD LOL-.- me yujie and ann qing were force to sit together, but it was supppeeeerrrr funny. Saw how some gay sc dance on stage, hahahahah super funny.

On MRT saw some weird guy "vandalising" his plaster cast around his broken hand. LoL-.- super sad coz ICAS was a failure (not say I fail lar). I feel like destroying myself. I was studying for science prac then SUMBODY so irritating to msn me "__________", thats how I knew my failed results. Can that person learn to just stop rubbing in when sum1 is depress?

Almost everything changes in our lives as we grow older; handwriting, character, goals, people, age, likes and hatreds, fashion, knowledge and so on. Many people wants all these changes to be a pleasant one, but sometimes changes just kicks you out of the right path.

Well, I was most of the time one of the top in class back in primary school, and also embodied a very studious and humble character (at least that was the mentality of my former classmates). That's not the main point. But, alas, during the great shift from primary to secondary school life, I became, perhaps, too complacent and became some unknown guy in class. It is as if some detrimental contagious virus invaded my brain and corrupted me inside out. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I found out about this recently when I went to my primary school gathering, and my ex-classmates are like "Jeryl, I don't remember you being like that...", this was my wake-up call, and I realise that the real ME is corroding away, all along I wasn't myself?! I feel traumatised and helpless. And the worst thing is that turning back was a difficult option, but I am trying to (I have to). It is comparable to gambling on a one-arm bandit -- it takes millions of tries just to get the slots right, but by then, I would have wasted too much money and precious time.

This was the significant change that I realised in me, and I am desperate to change, and this time for the better. I wouldn't know how long will this 'metamorphose' last after I enter the threshold of it. I'm passing the rest up to the Lord to guide me back to the right path; bring the REAL ME back.

Good results are the key to Success. Well, this is definitely true, that causes my melancholic feeling this few days. I haven't been scoring good results this term, though I know that it is very essential to do well so that I can get into a good subject combi. But my results are upsetting me; I feel worthless and unknown...have no clue why...unlucky. Failed the sugar making today, did not make a perfect heart nor managed to write my name, and worst still our sugar got burnt thus tasting very bitter-ish. Such a failure I am._.

Anyway, I have scanned the class tee design, and the positive thing is that we are FINALLY gonna get a class tee very very very soon (:

Friendship SEQ

"friendship grows when there is much time spent together, going for outings, or watching a movie, having fun together." How far do you agree with this statement?

I agree with this statement to a small extend. Well, it's perfectly normal for a class to be bonded easily by outings and time spend together, and it's thorugh these activitites that the class stay united. At least, this works for most of the classes.

But I have to disagree with this statement as it's proven by our class (2E'10), that not having all these activities (eg movie, outings) can still glue the class together. Not so much should be emphasized on the outings and activitites (secondary), rather on the enjoyment of the class. We, 2E'10, might not have much in our portfolio, nevertheless, we had a whale of time in school (and that's enough to bond the class); soon, cliques form & friendship blossom :)

You see, it's not about how you bond the class, but it's about class spirit and 'self-enthusiasm', with a coat of entertainment element. Once a wave of engagement in the class swollows you up, you will naturally be prompted to stay as a class. This is what lacking in our class.

Though we might not have a class outing (in this 1 year), nor even have a class tee, we have had a blissful time as a part of 2E'10! But, now many are counting till the day we've had to part. I personally feel depressed about the splitting of classes, and we can't be the usual "notorious" 2E'10 again :"( But burning in each one of 2E-ians' heart, we know that we have came this far as a class, and now we shall finish this lap together. Though we might not be the first, we know that we are together as one, unseparatable, 2Extravagance'10 :]

As Friends, we must learn to give and take, where both parties benifit from the exchange and are contented with wad's the result. Just like two hydrogen molecule, they undergo molecular bonding by 'sharing' one valence electron with each other, to be stable. Likewise, we have to share to succeed together, being selfish will lead us nowhere.

Haiz. Today is equally unlucky. Emo-ing at home.
Got owned totally by some home-econs teacher,
then homeecons caused me to be late for science,
and so happen Ah Lee is in a bad mood,
scolded us inside out....

I dun care whoever whos reading this but I really have to write this down:
I really cant stand people who backstabs me and not only that person backstabbed me, she did so to the whole class, she even suck up to the teacher and act pitiful infront of form teacher. She wasnt even helping in the environmental stuff lor! She brainwashes newcomers brain and then tries to flirt and "befriend" with them, but 你应该知道她的真面目. She tot that she was so smart, and tries to own everybody who was being scolded by writing a filthy letter to Mr Lee, and poor him to believe those illegible handwriting...She wasnt even here yesterday to collect the assignment lor, and she hasd the cheek to coax the teacher to engrave our names into the mngmnt diary?! 的确是卑鄙无耻的贱骨头！All this are true facts, and non of these am I exaggerating... Even I cant stand her horrible attitude, who can?

Hope our class can be more bonded together, and no enemies, but she is making this a mission impossible...

He continued to watch the butterfly, because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shrivelled wings. It was never able to fly.What he had done in his well intentioned kindness and haste, he did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required to get through the tiny opening were God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If “God” allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been…… and we could never fly……. Have a great day, a great life, and struggle a little… remember… “Universe” wants you to fly!”

So often we want to take the easy way out with everything. But real growth comes from persevering through adversity, not by avoiding it. Each obstacle that we overcome, makes us stronger.

同情之心 VS. 卑贱之钱

今天，当CCA终于结束了，我拖着沉重的双脚，用慢悠悠的脚步走向地铁站。当自己要到地铁站入口时，发现站在我前面的两名学生也是在立化念书的，真不巧呢！忽然，背后传来阵四十多岁的女声，叫道：“弟弟，你可否乐意捐钱给那位老人吗？”我莫名其妙地转过头，只在来来往往的人群中略略见到一位年老人，他的左手被截肢了；骨瘦如柴的他，好无表情地对着迎面而来的过路人傻傻地瞧着。

我本身认为那位四肢发达的妇女，应该找个适当的工作，在家里奉养年老的父亲，而不是坐在一旁，好似念经一样，叫人帮助她的父亲。而且，路人所捐的钱，你认为真正为了赔父亲的医药费，或那些钱始终会到妇女的口袋里呢？以前，父母辛辛苦苦，花费很多心血，把儿女养大，他们的学费、医药费等等都抱在父母身上；但，现在女儿反而用父亲的‘残废身份’占路人的便宜，简直是缺乏人道！

我非常想捐些“同情心”给那位皮包骨的老人，但是我知道老人所受到的“同情之心”返会被称为女儿的“卑贱之钱”，所以还是继续走进地铁站里。

The Apple Tree

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it every day. He loved the tree top, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow...He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by....... The little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree everyday. One day the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad. "Come play with me," the asked the boy. I am no longer a kid, I don't ' play around trees anymore." The boy replied, "I want toys. I need money to buy them." "Sorry, but I don't have money.....but you can pick my apples and sell them. Then you will have money." The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples.

The tree was sad.. One day the boy returned and the tree was so excited. "Come and play with me" the tree said. I don't have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me? "Sorry but I don't have a house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house." So the boy cut all the branches off the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy never came back since then.

The tree was lonely and sad. One hot summer day, the boy returned and the tree was so delighted. "Come and play with me!" the tree said. "I am so sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat? " "Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy." So the boy cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a very long long time.

Finally, the boy returned after he left for so many years. "Sorry, my boy, but I don't have anything for you anymore. No more apples for yo u...." the tree said". "I don't have teeth to bite" the boy replied. "No more trunk for you to climb on" I am too old for that now" the boy said. "I really can't give you anything.....the only thing left is my dying roots" the tree said with tears. "I don't need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years." The boy replied "Good! Old Tree Roots is the best place to lean and rest on." "Come, come sit down with me and rest " The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears......

This story is for everyone. The tree represents our dearest parents. When we were young, our parents were the ones who brought us out, play with us, care for us; but as we enter the teenage phase of life, we tend to neglect them, till we get a job, perhaps married, have a family. But though we might be remiss about them; nevertheless, they continue to bear a potray of us in their ever forgetful mind - they love us.

I wanna thank my parents for being such great help to me. Though, I might not talk to you much, but do not just skim the surface of the water, plunge deeper and you'll find the real me - that loves you. Submerged here, though still holding on tight to your trust is yours truely, lovin' you always (:

Parents are the veins and arteries,

while childern are the capillaries;

all intertwined close together,

lovin' each other more than ever ♥

Remarks: WTF! I hate Ah Lee lor._. scolded us and threatened to deduct our test time just bcos we did not change out of PE?! He purposely came to our class just to chase us down, and yet he didn't SEE us in PE attire meh?! Busy talking on his damn phone only lor._. Anyway, task 2 was a HORROR! I dunno how to draw the diagram, and wrote only a few steps. GG liao! :P

difficulty level: quite easy, except for the conclusion lor. Copied some from JW :D 李老师 actually suppose to give us 15-20mins, but in the end she gave us 40 mins ((:

Just came back from henry's house. Woke up early in the morning just to take the train to Yew Tee. Qian bian! But it is ok ba, once every year...got 2 hong bao! Haha. But super tired and exhausted as I was writing the speech and drama script with Ann Qing which is SUPER torturous...Did not get a chance to go down to play with Henry :(

心，

就似一棵树；

在朋友的支持下，一层层地建起来；

就像树皮，层层而增。

渐渐地，一棵小种子在岁月的陪伴下，

Hi. Just wanna tok bout the orientation 2010. Though I was just a co-class fac, 1G & 1B still likes me!! I just have to say 1G rocks the world ((: 1B rocks equally ((: Met a lot of cute faces!! (x and of course some notorious yr 1s but they were eaten by me!! Muahahahaha ((x jkjk.

HeyHey. Love u guys! Thx for all your support though we didn't win anything. But it is totally not about the winning that matters, it is about how much you all bond together as a class. I still can rmbr during the captain's ball match, we were losing and all of u were so emo-like, but after we caught up rapidly with the other teams, you all were cheering like insane ppl (x From that time onwards, all of you were so hyper!!

Thx 1G guys (I noe I am bias) for being so Enthu and supportive of your class. Thx for the Fan Club u all have created for me. Though I just join your class on the second day, but once I step in, I felt that this class ROCKS (: and I was hypnotized by that, and in the end did not leave your class :D Hope all of 1G'10 ppl would appreciate our help to not only get use to the RV cult, but also allow all of u to make more friends ((:

HoHoHo.

Just came back from AussieLand yesterday:D The experience was exhilarating! Well, don't really want to explain all the activities I did there, as I find it kinda worthless-_- But I'll post bout the INTERESTING events that happened.

1st day: playing and sleeping in the plane :x

2nd day: reached the airport in the morning, then went to a supermarket to get some tidbits to munch on. I got a shot of the cigarette holder there (above), which states "Butt Out", lol. We proceed to the jetty to take a boat to Tangarooma Island to spent a night there. At night, we fed the wild dolphins that swim near the beach every night to be fed by tourists (us).

3rd day: Took a boat back to the main land and then proceed BFO (some Shopping Centre) to get shirts, wallet, etc. Boring! =.= Nothing much interesting.

4th day: Forgot wad we did. Too fun too rmbr!! Anyway, I met Alvin, someone from RV yr2, and his family, best of all, his brother is the same sch as mine! and they recognise each other! :D Such a small world after all!! ((x After dinner, we went to the night market to get some gifts for my aunts, and saw a weird loo that can't be locked (meaning it will never state "lock" on the outside). pic above.

5th day: Went to Dream World. sat in the motorcycle coaster, almost puke! Best thing, met Alvin again. Coincidence! xD Took the weird toilet signs. I wonder why toilets are so interesting in Aus. pic above. ps cant find the women pic.

6th day: Went to Movie World. Ride the Scooby-Doo spooky coaster, love it the most!! super fun. But mum complain chest pain after riding it. I prefer Movie World than Dream World, as games are more exhilarating there in Movie World.

7th day: Went to Kurrumbin park to see the animals there. was quite fun except for the parrot

feeding where I got scratched by the parrot's claws! After that, we went to the clean beach (that was so unlike singapore's) to take a stroll as well as pick up some seashells. Nothing interesting as we went to the airport after that...the end :D

PSB CIP & Banner Painting

Whewww. Long time no post!
These few days are basically bout PSB, PSB, more PSB...

On 3rd December, the whole PSB group went to METTA home to visit the clients there. The unique people there may not be as privileged as us as they have lower than normal IQ, but I can really see that they haven't given up on themselves by learning to play games (eg. Bingo) or learning languages or even to count. I was attached with the daycare clients (meaning they would return home, not permanent residents of the home). At first I was a little scared of them, as when we entered the room, they were basically "howling" at us, but after I settle down for a while, I realised that they were actually welcoming us.

I managed to communicate with two clients one named Weng Wee (dunno how to spell) and another a quiet indian girl. Weng Wee has a 100% fabulous memeory, as when I just introduced myself onced, my name would be automatically programmed into his head - he would never forget my name, though he pronounce it as "Jearol". I managed to interact with him and found out his age, 21 years old. He loves to count and add or multiply, though he doesn't know exactly how to do it, but at least he got all these terms in his brain. He would be like: "One, two, three, four" and sometimes "one plus two minus two". I tried teaching him to draw a circle, but the muscles at his fingers are very weak, causing his circle to be very fade. He did not draw a circle as how it suppose to be, instead he drew a weird figure, but after one of the volunteer showed him how to do so, he got the gist of it and began to draw. I realise that these people need different teaching methods like instead of say "circle", the volunteer said "round and round and round", but both way will result in a circle.

Whereas, for the Indian girl (I forgot her name), she has beautiful colouring skills. She could colour in the figure, not just scribble away on the paper, she knows how to get a colour contrast. She is 100% artistic. Though she is quiet, her brain works rather fast, allowing her to play games with us eg. Bingo. I also met with a elderly client, who sat next to me when we played Bingo. She doesn't really know English very well, but she is more to the Chinese background, therefore, she doesn't know numbers in English. So I had to be her "transmitter", reading the numbers in Chinese. I just feel great helping these people. The volunteer showed me a few "severely brain damage" clients, and OMG they look so helpless and pitiful, can't eat on their own, can't settle their business, have to wear a diaper, can't support themselves, etc. Poor thing...

There was a party time (I felt that this was lame) where every committee had to perform an act for the clients there. Publicity (our) com chose to sing "At The Beginning"!! I lurve that song!! Then there was a "musical chairs" game where only the clients get to play._. and I had to mingle around the clients, and the worst thing is that there is no space for me to seat! :( Yan Chen, Gordon and I got to like squat near clients, where our leg were cram by the time we choose to stand up and move.

To end it off, we went to the conference room to debrief, and we are free! Then Ahgong, Ahmah, all those who came for this CIP (except jiale) went to Causeway Point to eat lunch at Pizza Hut! I ate "oriental chicken" (Kenlynn pronounced it as "orientation") and we found out that Wai Kit can't take spicy food._. and Vanessa, Wai Kit, Kenlynn told sick jokes! Vanessa's one was sooooooooo sickly funny! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 5, ..., 6! Ouch!! That hurts ((x

We when to Hillary's house after that (coz dun wan watch movie), but who knows, It was a blessing in disguise!~! We played LittleBIG planet and... ... it was CraZiLy FuNnY!! We named the cute creature (above): "TTW" and that Zombie rabbit: "Pearly". Haha(: I lurve this sadistic game!! I was like controlling Pearly as I hate TTW, and Oooops, I got squashed by that fat cat doll :DD and I lurve it!! And many times, I was evaporated into black vapour by the scorching flames, that made everyone go haahahahahahaa!! See how sadistic we can get?

Then the next day, we meet at Jurong East MRT before proceeding to some random HDB flat to paint the PSB banner. Unlucky u can say, as it was raining all the way...after painting the banner, we had problem folding the banner and that resulted in Shi Jing carrying it like a waitress holding an exceptionally huge plate of paint into the MRT station. Gracie followed her to help her tap her card. While Kenlynn, Hillary, Yu Jie and I went to JE library to do the executing of the design on Photoshop. We took like 2 hours doing the designs resulting in backache, tired, buttache, all sorts of ache. When home like bout 7 something, just nice for dinner. Mum was as usually furious...but can't be help-_-

Gonna have another meeting tomorrow.

Hope it wouldn't drag for too long coz I got dental checkup.

crazy fun, though it was spoilt a little by the rain...but nevertheless, we proceed on with the wet weather programme, which was equally interesting!! (x

In 2011, Singapore would be receiving two giant pandas from China. They would be living in a natural enclosure in Wildlife Reserves Singapore. The two pandas (one younger than the other) represent the close relationship between China and Singapore.

Wildlife Reserves Singapore would have two years to prepare for this pair of pandas, preparation includes having to grow six species of bamboo to suit the diet of both pandas. And ultimately, we hope that this pair of pandas would soon produce offspring. But offspring would be sent back to China for special care. Sad case.

But now, the question is, how can Singapore show our gratitude to China? In the first place, what do we have that represents Singapore? Maybe orchid plants? But would the weather there be suitable for the growth of the orchid? I don't think so; even though it is suitable, orchids would be commonly seen in China, thus there would be nothing unique at all.

What about Durian trees? No thanks. China doesn't have that tropical heat that are most favorable to the Durian trees so that they can produce sweet and fleshy fruits. So Durian plant is out.

Next, how about teaching them some "Singlish"? This would allow China citizens to have the "singa-slang", thus allow better communications with Singaporeans. But I don't think Singapore's PM would be glad to do so. Or what about passing on some of our "kiasi/kiasu" trait marks to them, so that they can be just like us, 100% fabulous.

How about letting have some of our brainy scholars? Perhaps from RI or HCI? Hmmm...I don't think our PM would allow, as we need those nerdy scholars for the prosperity of our own country. Ahhh...I know the perfect trade. Let them have a taste of our ERP!! This would allow China's government to prosper, and at the same time reduce the rate of air pollution as well as the amount of greenhouse gases produced. So China citizens would be driving for about 5 minutes when they have to whip out another $2-note! Ha! Perfect idea!

去到母校才发现乒乓队有假期露营，根本没人在!
哎呀! 倒霉极了!
由于没力气与心情打球，造成我跟谁比赛都输透了，
最终举了白旗，坐在一旁，冷静下来...
下个星期又是有什么四天三夜的PSB 露营，
无法去打球。
希望那露营会有趣无比，不然我真的会后悔不堪。
但今天，总算是倒霉了一些。
我鞋子在途中，还被雨水湿透了呢! 气死人啦!

Hi, I am fairly happy today so do not dare to spoil my mood tomorrow...
anyway, was really extremely emo yesterday, almost cut myself, but nvr dun worry. I wrote this post yesterday so I am gonna post it now:

骂了我，

Q1. Study Source A and answer the question below:
Is Source A trustworthy in telling that Ris Low has poor english and she cannot gain back the trust with singaporeans?
MY SOLUTION: (towards Ris)
I thought what she said in Source A is very meaningful thought what she said when the interviewer asked her how she would regain back the trust with Singaporeans was very well said: "offenders can actually rebuilt their lives, rebuilt their trust, in society; like to mend the crack. Even though the crack will always be a crack, but we can do our best to seal it up." I thought that she was really pitiful being criticized by the public about the way she was interviewed. As mentioned by her, it was the first ever interview in her life, and well, and she did not speak any singlish throughout the interview. I think Singaporeans just like to nit-pick on the way people speak in front of the cameras; and seriously, the people that were commenting on her were speaking singlish, not forgetting the "yarhs" and the "lors"... It is like human reaction, or at least, Singaporeans reaction to speak like that.

According to Ris Low, she explained that "booms" is a word meant to be attention-grabbing word, she just did not say it in a really strong tone as she was nervous, so the "booms" then becomes very awkward as she speaks. She too has the habit of speaking very slowly, so it would sound even more awkward when the "booms" came out from her mouth.

We as Singaporeans suppose to support our fellow people though they may not qualify for the "Miss Singapore" title. Then why is people making fun of her on Youtube? Frankly speaking, I found the clip very comical and entertaining, but then when I listen to her explanation, I felt that Singaporeans are being too strict in the aspect about language.

MY SOLUTION: (against Ris)
It is understood that Singaporeans have a high expectation for Ris Low as ultimately, she would be representing Singapore in the upcoming Miss Universe or something. So when outsiders who by chance doesn't know where Singapore is and does not know the people there (we), they would tend to conclude that what they see (Ris Low) is what Singaporeans are.

So by giving up the title, she is actually causing less conflict for us (Singaporeans), Singapore, her family and most importantly herself. She also should brush up on her conversation skills and her English vocabulary power. She should also not give the excuse that that was the 1st time she was being interviewed on videocams, as having a powerful vocab would boost her conversations and her language would not be such a flop.

昨天，在学校呆到六点半左右，身体疲惫不堪，腰酸背痛。乒乓训练好闷倦哦！我拖着沉甸甸的脚步到巴士站，一头想着滚回家冲个凉。朋友都有父母载他们回家，而我呢，需等巴士回家。孤独的我，在巴士站等了好久，巴士才肯来。我的生命好似翻倒了，以前由父亲带我回家，以前的朋友有如磁铁似的——密切极了，互相关怀。现在呢？父亲有孩子不如有了金钱，工作到七点多，如果有重要事要办的话，就会呆到九点半，为的是金钱。朋友与朋友之间的关系，也不像以前那么密切，个忙个的，要全班到某个地方看电影，可说是千载难逢的机会啊！

上了巴士后，发现里头并没挤满人，就找到一个位子坐。做在我前面是一位马来妇女，坐在她旁是两个不到六岁的孩子，一男一女。他们俩虽然看起来瘦小，但却精神旺盛，蹦蹦跳跳的，坐不静；如果我与他们来比的话，可说是天壤之别，我这种人可说是个闷葫芦，喜欢呆在个静谧的角落，安静地读书。但是，看到这两个孩子是我觉得，以前的我不就像他们吗？但是为什么我会变得这样呢？这很难回答... ...可能是朋友的影响，可能是成长中大家所面对的一面，可能是... ...我想着。以前的我，喜欢乐，喜欢玩，对父母也是彬彬有礼的；但现在，为了些小事就与父母吵了起来。很多时候，我会扪心自问：为什么我脾气愈来愈暴躁？但始终回答不了。跟朋友也是不例外。眨都没眨眼，就愤懑地破口大骂。

以前，开始完毕了，就感到非常轻松，心情自然会开心，每天上学能和老师们开玩笑，能和朋友到操场玩游戏。现在，考试考完了，反而更烦恼，担心成绩等等；现在考试完了，在家里也是无所事事的，度过每一个小时都是一件超级辛苦完成的事，更不要说度过每天。我的生命在那里？快乐跑到哪里去了？

我生命之火好似被熄灭了，而永远烧不起了... ...

Hummmm....overall 2day was fun, coz we did the skit after school, and the process was soooo fun!! XueJia was damn funny acting as the Prince! hehe (x Henry and Clinton the evil monster!! (x I was lyk director of this thingy and has to ScReAm very loud to get their attention back...haiz...害了我声音都变了! Now drinking a lot of water, but cant get my precious voice back! Humph! I hope 2morrow still can act.
That's the happy part.....

But now, the depressing part of today...
Got back chinese paper1 and noe the total score, was rank 13 in class. B-A-D!! I hate myself! Get until so 烂?! I was throwing tantrums in class, sorry bout it...cant help it... Seriously very depressing to see such lousy marks, way off my expectations..lucky I did not cry...
Argued with my mom over some small stuff, then got myself sooo worked up that I started screaming. Then she started reprimanding me for "不尊重长辈"?!?! WTH?!?! That is lol-_- yarh...then I decided to do some blogging now to 消气...我的生命好像被翻倒似的?! 倒霉极了!

Haiz...2day stayed in class for quite a while, for nothing. Then clinton was pursuading me to eat curry chicken at Queensway. But NO WAY! I dun really lyk the curry chicken coz 我吃到腻了! So I suggested to eat Laksa. When we got there, the vry "kind" aunty, without asking us, 帮我们加面?!?! I eat until my stomach bloated up, Clinton gave up eating leaving 5 prawns with lots of noodles. OMG!! So wasted! >:(

We talked about random stuff, marks, GPA, emo stuff, and many others... Upon finishing, the fire alarm suddenly rang, siao so lOuD!! Scare me out of my emo mood...humph. But anyway, we finished le, so we just 悄悄地 scram away.

But NO Henry NO Fun..humph>:( Can tell that he is emo-ing 2day, coz of his results...not too good...Me too!! 很烂! 气死人了咯! Humph... He told me that he would not pon volleyball training as he can "消气" dunno how true is that... ...I'm afraid that my tt balls will crack! xp

Anyway,
Got some information for the FUN events that will happen over the next 3 days:
So for Tomorrow (21 Oct 09), There will be a Peer Support Session.
All Year one student will have to gather at the track before 2.30pm.
I beg all 1E ppl, DO NOT PON!! Pls, this is the last PSS alr, so just attend it. Moreover, exams are over alr lor! U should be free?! I think PSS is fun what...We will be dedicating sumthing like a hUgE board to all our PSLs!! And 5 ppl will have to say "A FEW THINGS"!! (x
Looking forward to having PSS 2morrow!!

Then for Thursday, we would have our day camp!~~

And the amazing thing is that we are going to have our campfire "A Night Under the Stars!!" at 5pm!! So amazing! I wonder if there are stars at 5.30pm?!?! XD

但是现在，又要担心世界末日2012年12月12号？嗨... ...烦死啦!

被一些悲观论者预言，这将是世界的末日，因为玛雅日历已经不多了，并会推测完成了二〇一二年十二月十二日。古老的玛雅人遗留代码，清楚地表明什么灾难性的世界末日就在眼前时，他们的日历结束。这个“结束日期”，可以是12月21日或2012年12月23日-取决于你与谁交谈。大多数分析家认为，玛雅代码的日期转换为2012年12月21日。根据玛雅法，也就是代表五次浩劫。第一个太阳纪是洪水纪，第二个是风蛇纪，第三个是火雨纪，第四个是地震纪，第五个就是世界末日。到时，太阳消失，地球剧烈晃动，到处火山地震，狂风洪水。生物灭绝，地球彻底毁灭！玛雅历法推算的这天是3113年，也就是公历2012年12月21日！每个周期持续5125年。

每次坐在电脑前，傻傻地蹉跎岁月。
未必这么紧张我告诉自己，
但是良心的责备实在是太强；
我怎么不肯读书？
是否欠打，或欠骂？
每天自言自语：考试指日可待，
但有何用？还是大同小异阿！
根本不会治疗我心里的慌乱。
害怕也要考，

冷静也要考，
所以何必慌张？
现在要准备，
好像明天要考试，
充分地准备；
考试时取得好成绩!
不许“明日复明日”的想法。

Now, about 2day...
Aiyah, 2day started off so badly lor. Scored so Low for Physics when ppl (lyk jiale) say it is so easy! Shit larh...so depress, then the darn Maths test make me even more depressed... *sob sob* During recess, I was warned by JL that the test was vry difficult, this alr intimidated me. Then I was so crazy about the test and went to com lesson with maths tb and all maths stuff, except the maths file. And guess wad! The st**** questions came out about the linear functions! OMG! I really feel lyk killing myself! Damn the Term 死...真的令人逝世! And I lost abt 7marks just by not doin the whole of Q5 & Q6! I surely score less than 13 marks...furthermore, I did not draw in the freaking diagrams! Whoa siao! I think I should score 11+ ba...sway siah... ): *sob sob* waste my time revising for maths test! 气死人了!

Now must prepare for LA oral presentation (OP) lor. Humph! 我死了算了! 未必这么辛苦! 我恨死自己! Ohyah...muz speak Eng cannot speak my "darn chinese" (cannot imitate Ann Qing :P). I am so 'scared' of Eng presentation! 2day XueJia present until so pro...surely get 14/15 at least! 好羡慕哦! But I 4got to bring back my 报纸, haiz...forgetful me...=.=

Another Aiyah, 2morrow is Physics Test leh...yesterday then start revising lor...nervous. I heard from a lot of ppl saying tat Physics very easy, dunnoe how true it is...**shivers**

The third Aiyah, 2day hor, got the dunnoe wat crap lesson bout Cyber Wellness which is so SHIT! OMG, I am just wasting the 'valuable' Champs period on this lame lesson. We were being filmed in one aircon room, (btw,I dun even care if we are film lor), just go there 享受 the aircon. HeHe^^ Then nothing to do but to Disturb Henry & Ann Qing. hehe. Then dat Xue Wei started throwing paper balls at each other and at Ngoc Tam...lol. I was lyk only sitting at the corner 袖手旁观. AnnQing oso very pisst off. 都是 Henry 的错，没好好照顾安晴! I am so disappointed with u....jkjk (x That teacher is oso so 自恋 lor, say can check out all the infos bout us in just 1min. Henry and I was thinking (and screaming) that the teacher "hack" into Facebook or dunnoe wad shit she use. Then she oso dun want to reveal which website she go to find out. Then she announced "proudly" wad findings she 'excavated...In my heart I was thinking that why did she bother to do such a thing....lol. 吃饱没事干吧! Hehe, should be. And The most interesting thing is that her infos were all FAKE! hahahahahaha...lousy findings...

But luckily, I have a "CLEAN UNDERWEAR", no records bout me were "excavated" by her...hehe. when actually I am now posting "fabulous" stuff bout her!! She would definitely never find my blog...unless sum1 出卖我...-_- But If she managed to succeed in finding my blog, NO OFFENCE hor....u noe my character, I hate to fake things...so this is my personal feelings bout the lesson. LOL=.=

Then after school, Jiale dun wan to let me see her GPA! Humph! 欠贬! still make me run around the whole sch...then Clinton oso pester her for the results, but u noe she tis kinda ppl will not let info out so easily...until around 3.20pm liddat she told us got 3.8 and above GPA!!! OMG WTF! Here score very fantastic leh.....3.8 and above.....can't believe it....(haha but still lose to me in LA, hehe). J.L. dun wan ppl to chase her when I reveal her marks....so just take it that she got higher than me~! 气死人啦! :@

Yo!Yo!Yo!
2day is the best day of the week lor. Especially the Speech and Drama class! Everybody was lyk laughing and giggling. I needed to act as a gal and guess wad, I am Henry's Gal!! OMG! Sickening hahas >.< Acting as a gal is really not easy lor, must tolerate all the laughter and (the worst) imagining myself as a gal!! Argh! But then the next scene, I was acting as the father of Henry and WenSu, distributing the inheritance. I almost 4got my script!! But just fake it! Hahaz:) The teacher very QB leh, say cannot wear DnT apron have to be a real skirt! OMG~! I was lyk so PS. I am gonna wear a skirt?! NO WAY!! Ok larh, maybe for this, I will wear WenSu or XueJia's skirt...haiz. BUt overall, it was so facinating and funny!
(btw, AQ was laughing her head off!! Henry muz be happy!!XP)

Then I went to change to jersey for TT training. During TT training, jiale was so emo as usual. Then as usual oso, the 死 ChaoZhi lor, go and command HaoYi, 我听得不爽. Then I ask him 闭上他的乌鸦嘴. Then he shut up. Aiyah, as usual oso, that Jiale with her "principle": must keep a distance of 5m away from him. So weird and funny. Then that 教练叫我们集合，集合了后，他突然画两个圈圈，害我嘻嘻哈哈，捧腹大笑 -- 简直是搞笑行动！ YunDa and I was like laughing till our stomachs burst, can't even play properly. Then 教练 come to our table and draw 2 HUGE circles on the tables, making me think sick: Circle Circle Dot Dot! Then he draw wrongly, and guess wad, he cross out the 2 circles and draw another two circles!! The crossed out circles looked like the OO of Mr Chow!! OMG!! Then 教练 asked the gals to 练发球, and he teached them to do the OMG style; the bat has to slide pass the oVo!! Sickening! **Laughs** YunDa and I was laughing lyk mad!! Then the competitions was as usually boring, till I compete against MingWei, with 教练烂板, I lost to him!! Argh!! Nvm, 2morrow I will 报酬 with my OWN bat!

Ohyah, b4 I go, I nid to let all of 1E know that on Monday, pls wear ur House T-shirt for Acears (dunno how to spell) Day. But I am not too sur if the gals have to wear their dark blue skirt, while boys wear their white pants. NOT SURE!! I will conform ASAP, dun worry! Yo!! Extremely High now larh!
The PSL interview was so fantastically Easy! At the beginning, the interviewers were like starring at me initially, then I felt so weird! But they did not intimidate me at all, hahas. Instead, I starred at them till the interview starts. So fun. I want to go for MORE interviews! The two gals sitting next to me were so terrified till they froze onto their seats!

During the interview, the interviewers only asked 4 questions in total: Introduce yourself, what qualities do you think a PSL will have, what qualities do you have to become a PSL, and will u be able to commit to the PSB? The 1st part was to intro urself, saying ur name, class, CCA.

2nd part, I think a PSL should be enthusiastic because being enthusiatic will enlighted the tense and quiet atmosphere between the Juniors as they are new in RV. Being Enthusiastic will also create a happy and "high" environment such that the Juniors will be able to interact with each other.

3rd part, Basically I have a very friendly personality. Being friendly, I will be able to communicate better with my Juniors, my Juniors will also be willing to share their thoughts with me. As I am friendly, Juniors would approach me for help and blah blah blah...

4th question, all of us do not understand the question, then the interviewers say "NVM"!! Hahas. OMG!! Happiest and 'High-est' day of my life!

2day I also got back my results and WOW I was soooooo shock! I got an A1! Somemore 4th in class, but I still very noob leh, only got 76.027 marks-_- haiz...nvm A1 就对了!
The Extremes in Chinese:
Shi Yi (86.08); 1st.
Ann Qing (80.071); 2nd.
Xue Jia (78.902); 3rd.
Congrats Get until soooo high (touch the sky)!! (:
(I think Jiale Higher...nvm)

2day also return the marks for History. Very disappointed with myself. Haiz...only got 57.1 marks (4/7). Congrats to hte full marks ppl: Stella, Qi Jia, Ann Qing, etc. 2day also return the Lang Qrts comprehension test paper, guess wad? I got 21/25 hahas! But, that Madm Chan Mali Chan lor, because of not using "proper" foolscap paper then minus 1 mark! 欠贬 Perfume Woman! Ok...at least still A1 larh. Hehe(:

我们对华文爱不释手，做功课是永远会按部就班，慢条斯理。我们也是奉公守法的好学生，从来不会明目张胆地胡作非为，反而我们会不择手段地做工课，不管长年累月，不管需要趁火打劫，我们一向会不遗余力。在美术师里，我们会画蛇添足，但有些自高自大的同学会画龙点睛。我们对每一位老师的性格了如指掌，所以忘了做功课时，会用花言巧语说服老师。但是千千万万要别出心裁地这么做，因为上的山多终遇虎，我们总有一天会被抓的，所以要变本加厉。但是如果我们真的进退两难，一定要灵机一动，苦口婆心地口是心非。当老师上当了，同学们会普天同庆，捧腹大笑。但如果失败了，无所谓，失败乃成功之母，我们一定要百折不挠，不要半途而废。翻的来说，如果你选择打退堂鼓，举白旗，你简直是不可救药了。当然啦，不要这么愚蠢，等老师发火了才‘计划’好，要见机行事，也不要不自量力，要趁火打劫。失败了，我已经说了，不要愁眉不展，因为世上没有不劳而获的事。加油！

1E will not last for long,
If all the rubbish is not gone.
I seem to agree with the last post,
I see rubbish coast to coast.
Do not throw your rubbish on the floor,
What on earth are your hands for?
Pick it up rid the floor of grime,
And I will give you a dime.
Now here I go for the umpteenth time,
Rubbish I see in every line.
Clean them up our class will shine!
Before I go out of my mind.
All our duties we neglect,
Save us the disrespect.
Duties should be done without further ado;
Sadly duties would be the last thing we will do.
If everybody can do their part to clean,
We will be happy tidy teens.
Some people do not even care,
They do not do their share.
Not that we like to get scolded by the teachers,
And get booed off and stared at like a Lucifer.
We may forget to do the duties,
Resulting in many dusty impurities.
Looking at the class makes me disgusted,
All those dust made my concentration disrupted.
It may be inconvenient and a waste of time,
I hate my duty and this rhyme.
However it's our responsibilities,
That we have to do our duties.
People doing duties may declare,
"OMG!? So unfair!"
Our class has so much dust in the air,
With the sulking floor and walls in despair.
Are we so not going to care,
When we get 'F' and teachers flare?
We'll go down to history,
For being the dirtiest class in RV.
Dirt makes me so iritate;
Anger is all I'll get at this rate.
So much dust makes me asphyxiate,
No, I'm serious and I'll be dead.
Seeing the tables all crooked and disorganised,
That is what I really despise.
If the duties are left undone,
Our class is dirty before lessons begun.
What an environment for us to learn,
Listening intently as our noses burn,
No, not with PW's perfume smell,
But because of the dust in our class that dwells.
Not that I'm forcing you guys to keep the class spotless,
But we must do it for the goodness,
That it brings to us,
No this is not farce!
Throw your rubbish in the bin,
If not it will pain you like a sin.
People like Daniel harmless as ever,
Playing with the broomsticks; Horrible demeanour!
We have to take care of what belong to us,
And that includes our dingy class.
I mean our class is housing all the doubts and insecurities,
Who wants to get trapped in that rut while I throw away the keys?
You know I think I've failed in being a Welfare Leader,
Might as well be a Welfare Loser.
If everybody can't be bothered,
I shouldn't waste my time on this either.
So I'll finish up my last two lines,
By the way why bother reading this rhyme?
Do our duties diligently I say,
Make our class a clean place and have a good day!

昨天晚上，但我趴在床上，翻来覆去，怎么也无法入眠。我终于体会了闷闷不乐的感受。圆圆的月亮从东方的天边悄悄地露出笑脸，她像一个文静的姑娘，把柔和、皎洁的银光洒向人间。那晚，天上扑满了星斗，有大的，有小的，有明亮的，有幽暗的；东一簇，西一团，亲昵地凑在一起眨眼睛。瞪着天花板也不好玩，望着早已入眠的弟弟打鼾也觉得非常闷。嘿... ...怎么搞的，闷死了！闷了一阵子，往事不知不觉，像奔腾的波涛似的，一霎间涌满我的胸膛。但是，当我的眼光降落在那个摆在桌上的徽章时，一件往事就会浮到我脑海上，同时内疚与懊悔就会交织在我脑海里... ...

今天老师和同学们会提名谁会作班主席的那天。同学们都替我和小明感到紧张。我的心里仿佛装了七八个吊桶似的，在乱撞；手掌和额头不由自主冒出了冷汗，呼吸愈来愈困难。小明也不例外... ... 当投完票之后，老师吩咐我们俩进来，我不能相信眼前所摆的事实！

坦白说，顿时我觉得非常光荣，我并没和小明握个手，兴奋地崩下楼梯，到食堂饮食。这使小明非常气愤，他打算不要与我交往了，和我一刀两断！从那天起，我们两个不再跟对方讲话，不再理会对方。但日子久了，不晓得为何，小明更深一步地恨我，每次想针对我，让我在全班里下不了台。

但是我并没有捉弄他，为什么他会变得这么激动？老实说，我从来没有恨过他，或嫌弃他这个好友。已经过了两个学期左右，当他并没有跟我讲过一句话。今天又在巴士碰到他，我很想坐在他旁边问个清楚，但是又怕这会使他想起提名班主席的那一天，结果决定不要打扰他，少找麻烦。至今他还在恨在心里，谁能告诉我怎么办？我渴望有这一天能与他面对面谈谈。

想啊想，一珠眼泪不禁从眼眶落了下来... ...我闭上了疲倦的眼睑，进入睡梦中......

Sooooo much HMWK again!! Every weekend always have to forced my eyes OPEN to brun my midnight oil! Is this the life of an RVian?? How to complete? Evrytime must go to school and chiong finish my hmwk...so sian le...How to "time manage" when we are so worried about finishing our homework? Haiz...怎么办呢？谁能帮我？如谁能帮我的话我就拜谁为师...Anyway, here are my "wonderful hmwk" that I haven't do yet...(a lot):

1. Physics Assignment 1: temperature and thermometers, left with section B.
2. Journal Writing.( write a compo). Haiz, sure can't finish...
3. Physics Practical Book, 4got wad practical larh...but juz nid to do.
4. Mathematics Assignment 10: Angle Property of Triangles and Quadrilaterals. Dateline: 18 August 2009. Still got time to do...lucky.
5. Geography Practice Assignment: Rocks, left with part (d) & (e). Maybe can finish.
6. Boring CID (Sports Science): Resistance Training Worksheet. Friday hand in...lucky.
7. CID Sports Science Draft out whole report with table of contents.

The Most torturing hmwk:

pls take note that there are some changes made in the old timetable for Monday. Pls note that the Language Arts period (1hour) will be brought back to the Higher Chinese period (12.40 - 1.40pm), Higher Chinese period will be brought forward to the first period of the day (8.00 - 9.00am). There are no further changes to the timetable. pls make the changes.

After some tension during the match, I finally defeated my sort of quite tough opponent! YAH! Then Rymie too won, but sadly Zi Cong lost to Anglican guy (who Jasmine said was very nerd-like, hahaz). I muz admit that that guy was strong to take down Zi Cong...

Now it is all up to Jasmine to win her match to make RV TT hav 3 plyers in to the round of...not sure...but anyway, Gd Luck to Jasmine!^^

there will be a class gathering at Sentosa Siloso Beach on 21 June '09 from 1pm till any time you like...also remember to bring xtra clothes, waterbottle and most importantly YOURSELF!

Ohya, also remember to bring more $$ and some snackz like potato chipz, etc.
Btw, we would also have to pay 4 the entrance feez, so pls bring along MORE $$.
we would take the free bus from harbourfront bus interchange station into Sentosa...
